WHO IS DASK FILMS?
Dask Films is the trading name for me, Giles Gough (I'm the one who's been using the royal 'we' everywhere on this site). I've has been making short films in some form or other for 20 years. In my time, I've worked as a writer, a teacher and a performer, and filmmaking is a great way to combine all three!
As for where the name ‘Dask’ comes from. That’s a long story, involving a fictional rockstar, kittens and the Inland Revenue. Let’s not get into it now…
WHERE ARE WE?

Dask Films was formed in 2007. Since then we’ve gone on to create videos tailored to the needs of each individual client. I’m based in Manchester and have done lots of work in this area, but have made videos for clients in Cardiff, London all over the UK, and even one time in Maryland in the good US of A! I’m very happy to travel for the right project.
